The elderly father of a popular TV actor was duped of nearly Rs90,000 in a new form of sextortion. The 76-year-old complainant first received a lewd phone call and then an obscene video clip from a woman. When he blocked her number, someone posing as a cop reached out to him, threatening legal action and warning him that the video was set to go public. After scaring him, the accused told him to pay up to block the video from being leaked online.
