North India headed for severe cold spell this week, temperature to drop to -4°C: MeT expert

According to a weather expert, vast swathes of north India are likely to witness a temperature of -4° Celsius and a maximum of 2° Celsius in the plains. Jammu and Kashmir, which has been experiencing snowfall, would have no respite from the cold spell with the mercury predicted to drop to a minimum of -6° Celsius.
