Lakshadweep MP Mohammed Faizal gets 10 years in jail for attempted murder
The sessions court in Kavaratti sentenced Lakshadweep MP Mohammed Faizal PP(of NCP) and three others on Wednesday to 10 years in prison for attempted murder. Faizal was the second accused in the case, registered at Andrott police station for assaulting Mohammed Salih, a Congress worker and son-inlaw of former Union minister PM Sayeed.
