Deven Bharti to be named spl CP for Mumbai?
Senior IPS officer Deven Bharti is likely to be appointed as the special commissioner of police, Mumbai. While deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, who is also state home minister, did not respond to TOI's messages, a high-ranking bureaucrat confirmed that the post of special commissioner is being created to accommodate Bharti. "The order will be issued soon," the bureaucrat said.
