Drunk driving cases in Mumbai up 9 times on NYE
Armed with breathalysers after over two years, city traffic police cracked down on drunk driving on New Year's eve as 156 motorists were issued challans, up from 18 last year. In Navi Mumbai, traffic police booked 160 for driving under under the influence of alcohol on December 31 night, while in Thane, 171 motorists were booked.
