Flutter in valley over ‘bid’ on Hizbul chief’s life in Pakistan

Pak-based Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin escaped a rumoured assassination attempt in Islamabad last Monday with injuries and has been holed up in a safe house since, fuelling speculation in J&K that all's not well between the terror outfit and ISI. As per unconfirmed reports, the attack took place on Salahuddin's convoy on May 25 by "unidentified elements".
