Kakinada: The number of aspirants for tickets from Jana Sena is increasing day by day. The aspirants are competing in their respective constituencies and expediting their campaign in different ways to draw the attention of Mr Pawan Kalyan, the party chief.

The party has appointed parliamentary committees. But those who are not in the committees are intensifying their efforts for tickets.

Mr Venkateswara Rao stood second in the state after enrolling more than 50,000 members in Jana Sena. He is aspiring for Kakinada Urban and Rural Constitu-encies. “I am an aspirant and am ready to contest from any of these constituencies,” said Mr Venkateswara Rao. He is also distributing glass tumblers, the symbol of Jana Sena to the people.

Ms Kadali Eswari is also confident that she may get the Kakinada Rural ticket as she has been participating in Jana Sena activities for the past three years. She said that Mr Pawan Kalyan would recognise her services.

Meanwhile, Pantham Nanaji’s supporters claimed that their leader would contest from Kakinada Rural Constituency and he is expediting his campaign. He is also state in-charge of Jana Bata. Mr Madhu Veeresh is a cricket player and is a close aide of Mr Kalyan.
