Varun once thought Kajol was married to SRK
Varun Dhawan once thought Shah Rukh Khan was married to Kajol until meeting Gauri Khan. In a Comedy Nights With Kapil episode from 2015, he humorously recounted the misunderstanding. Shah Rukh was initially set to play 'Zafar' in Kalank, but Varun ultimately took the role. Varun and Natasha Dalal are expecting their first child.
