Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently revealed that he wanted to replace Parineeti Chopra with Rashmika Mandanna in 'Animal' opposite Ranbir Kapoor. He also expressed his desire to cast Parineeti as Preeti in 'Kabir Singh'. Sandeep explained that he couldn't see Geetanjali, the character, in Parineeti and preferred instinct over auditions when it comes to casting. Despite feeling disheartened, Parineeti understood the reasons behind his decision. 'Kabir Singh' starred Kiara Advani opposite Shahid Kapoor.
