Gadar 2, Jailer, and OMG 2 recorded one of the biggest collections during Independence Day. The three new movies grossed an estimated Rs 127 crore, while Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Oppenheimer, Bhola Shankar, Mission Impossible 7, Barbie and Meg brought the total to Rs 140 crore.
