'Prem Rog' revolves around a young Manorama (Padmini Kolhapure) who hails from an affluent family and gets married at an young age. However, her husband's death, days after the wedding, turns her life upside down. Manorama is raped by her brother-in-law. When Rishi Kapoor’s Devdhar comes across her at this stage of life, he is reminded of the love he once had for her.
