CBFC refuses censor certificate to 72 Hoorain

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has turned down the trailer of 72 Hoorain, a National Award-winning film, citing the removal of specific visuals, references to the Qur'an, and animal welfare. However, the filmmakers argue that as the film already has a censor certificate, it should apply to the trailer as well and claim the decision has left them shocked. The trailer will now be released digitally on June 28. The producers have pledged to take the matter to higher authorities and have accused the members of the CBFC of being "black sheeps".
