Opened with positive reviews, 'Thunivu' received average occupancy on day 2, but the film recovered on day 3 on Friday. Ajith's film with H Vinoth falls short of Rs 100 crores at the end of day 3. The 'Thunivu' box office collection stands at around Rs 46 crores in Tamil Nadu, and the film's domestic collection is estimated to be around Rs 65 to 70 crores. The overseas collection of the film made it add more numbers, but the film falls well short of Rs 100 crores.
