Tollywood is rejoicing over the election results, especially as most in the industry joined the YSR Congress Party and also campaigned for it. The luckiest is comedian Ali, who jumped from Telugu Desam to YSRCP at the last minute when the TDP denied him a ticket.
Jayasudha, the Rajasekhar couple, comedian Prudhvi, Posani Krishna Murali, Sivaji Raja and many others also campaigned vigorously for the YSRCP. Veteran actor Nagarjuna, a staunch supporter of the party and a good friend of Y.S. Jagan, is also overjoyed.
“The actor had to actually see the editing work of his upcoming film Manmadhudu 2, but decided to stay at home and watch the election results instead,” says a source, adding that he sent a congratulatory message to Y.S. Jagan and may travel to Vijayawada to wish his friend personally.
