Business Inflation Expectations Survey (BIES) released by IIMA
The Business Inflation Expectations Survey (BIES) conducted at the Misra Centre for Financial Markets and Economy provides a probabilistic assessment of inflation expectations of businesses. The survey, which polls business leaders from the manufacturing sector, shows that one-year ahead business inflation expectation has increased to 4.58% in December 2023. Respondents also project one-year ahead CPI headline inflation to be 4.96%.
