New PG programme framework to offer more flexibility

The University Grants Commission has approved a new curriculum for postgraduate programs in India, in line with the restructured undergraduate programs. The new postgraduate programs will be offered in three formats - one-year, two-year, and five-year integrated programs. Students will have the flexibility to switch disciplines and choose courses of their interest. The new credit framework specifies the minimum credits required at the undergraduate level for different formats of postgraduate degrees.
