Sikkim CM announces awards for private schools
On Monday, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang declared that starting next year, his administration will confer awards upon private schools in the state in acknowledgment of their achievements. The top-performing school will be granted a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh, with the second and third-ranking schools receiving Rs 15 lakh and Rs 10 lakh, respectively.
