Delhi schools shut as air pollution hits 'severe' mark; MCD schools to hold online classes

All government and private primary schools in Delhi will be closed for two days, November 3 & 4, due to the severe pollution levels in the city. The decision was made as pollution levels entered the "severe" zone for the first time this season. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi also announced that physical classes in its schools would be suspended, with online classes to be conducted instead. At least 18 out of 37 monitoring stations in Delhi recorded AQI in the "severe" category.
