'Bharat', not 'India' in school textbooks, recommends NCERT panel 'unanimously'
NCERT textbook panel has come up with many recommendations for curriculum revision. One of them is that ‘Bharat’ should be used instead of India in the textbooks from Class 5 to Class 12. The committee has also recommended the inclusion of Indian Knowledge Systems in the syllabus of all subjects.
