Mumbai school among 72 teams selected globally for NASA’s rover challenge

Seventeen students from Kanakia International School in Chembur have been chosen for the Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC), a NASA-related engineering design competition. The students, aged 17, will design and test human-powered rovers capable of navigating difficult terrain. The competition will take place at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama, USA. The students will be guided by their mentor, Anuj Shah, and will have their design reviewed by NASA officials in November. The competition aims to encourage research and the development of new technologies for future space missions.
