Five students from government schools in Odisha shared their experience of participating in the Olympics Values Education Programme (OVEP) at the 141st IOC Session in Mumbai. The OVEP, launched in May 2022 in Odisha, teaches Olympic values and promotes social and emotional learning. It is implemented in 250 government schools, impacting 200,000 students. The program has encouraged girls to participate in sports, including mixed-gender games. Over 100,000 OVEP sessions have been conducted across 250 schools, and the Let's Move Campaign has seen the participation of over 7 million children in Odisha.
