12th-pass youths to be hired under U'khand's Jal Jeevan Mission

The Uttarakhand government plans to employ 8,000 high school graduates under the "Har Ghar Nal Yojana" to provide clean drinking water. The scheme aims to reach 14,53,825 households in 14,960 villages by February 2024. 7,783 youths will be employed as 'Nal Jal Mitras' and will receive free training in plumbing, fitting, and electrical work.
