India's Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, has approved the establishment of 23 new Sainik Schools in partnership with NGOs, private schools, and state governments. These schools will function under the Sainik Schools Society and follow the rules and regulations prescribed by the society. This initiative is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to provide quality education and better career opportunities to students, including those interested in joining the armed forces.
