Haryana Janmashtami Holiday 2023: Haryana govt. declares school holiday for September 7
Today, Sanjeev Kaushal, the Chief Secretary of the Haryana Government, issued a notification officially designating September 7th as a Gazetted holiday for Janmashtami. The notification states, "I hereby announce that Thursday, September 7, 2023, will be celebrated as a Gazetted holiday in the Departments/Boards/Corporations, Educational institutions, and other establishments under the jurisdiction of the Haryana Government in honor of the Janmashtami festival, instead of Wednesday, September 6, 2023."
