Work education instructors in Haryana, who have been protesting for their demands to be covered in the Council's By Laws 2013, were forcefully taken into custody by the police. They were released at an unknown location, and during this, a female instructor fell ill. The instructors have been demanding the same benefits as other employees of Samagra Shiksha. They had earlier gone on a fast unto death, which ended after assurances were made but no further action was taken.
