Haryana amends Teacher Transfer Policy to supersedes the 2016 policy
The Haryana Cabinet has approved the draft of the Teacher Transfer Policy, 2023 on Friday, replacing the policy issued in 2016. Major changes in the policy include removing the concept of zones and introducing a provision for graded positive discriminatory measures for widows. Teachers can now stay at a maximum of five years at a school during their service career.
