UP's Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana to benefit 5,000 child labourers

The 'Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana' which aims to educate child laborers may be expanded by the state government to cover all 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh, with the goal of reaching 5,000 children. The scheme, which is already benefiting 2,000 children aged between eight and 18 years, who are mainly engaged in work in the organized or unorganized sectors and contribute to their family's income.
