First IIT campus outside India will be set up in Tanzania
The first IIT campus outside India will be established in Zanzibar, Tanzania, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. IIT Madras, the Government of India, and Tanzania's Ministry of Education and Vocational Training signed an MoU. IIT Madras will oversee academic courses, curricula, and student selection.
