Lucknow’s ophthalmologist Brigadier Mishra conferred Ati Vishisht Seva Medal
Brigadier Sanjay Mishra, an ophthalmologist originally from Mau who settled in Lucknow, was honoured with the prestigious Ati Vishisht Seva medal by President Dropuadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. He holds the distinction of being the only military ophthalmologist surgeon to have performed surgeries on two Indian presidents during his service.
