The Ministry of Textiles and Director General NIFT, Rohit Kansal, unveiled packaging prototypes and a craft document for handicrafts and handloom products of Jammu region at JLN Udyog Bhawan Jammu. The event aimed to create a unique and sustainable packaging to add value to the artefacts of the Jammu cottage industry. The packaging designs, in tune with market demand, would increase sales and wage earnings of artisans and weavers in the region. The presentation was attended by various dignitaries from the Industries and Commerce department.
