Telangana's V Chidvilas Reddy emerged as the topper in the IIT entrance exam JEE-Advanced, scoring 341 out of 360. The 17-year-old who attributes his success to his family and mentors said he expects to study computer science at IIT Bombay and wants to pursue research later. Reddy's preparation for the exam was comprehensive and he stopped playing cricket and stayed away from social media for two years. The six among the top 10 rank holders came from IIT Hyderabad zone.
