Over 20,000 UP schools to get basic, cleanliness related infrastructure
Over 20,000 government elementary schools across Uttar Pradesh (UP) will receive infrastructure upgrades. The scheme, which includes minor and major building repairs, installation of toilets, and provision of electricity and drinking water, will help schools fill existing infrastructure gaps and improve attendance and retention rates. Schools in Gorakhpur, Gonda and Sultanpur will see the most interventions.
