National Technology Day 2023: History, Theme and Significance
National Technology Day is celebrated annually on May 11 in honour of India's scientists and their accomplishments. The day commemorates the successful nuclear detonation tests in May 1998. The theme for National Technology Day 2023 is 'School to Startups-Igniting Young Minds to Innovate.' This year, projects worth over Rs 5800 crore related to scientific and technological advancement will be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory - India and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.
