735 Kendriya Vidyalayas across India, including four from Prayagraj, have been selected for the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) scheme launched by the Ministry of Education. Around 9,000 schools were shortlisted for the scheme, and institutions eligible for the tag include government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, and Navodaya Vidyalayas.
