World Autism Awareness Day, observed on April 2, aims to increase understanding about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication, social interaction, and behaviour, characterised by repetitive actions and issues with socializing. The day provides a platform to enforce inclusion for autistic people and reduce social stigma associated with ASD.
