After CBSE, CISCE also discontinues merit lists for Class 10, 12 exams

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has decided to discontinue the practice of publishing merit lists for Class 10 and 12 board exams starting this year. This decision aims to prevent unhealthy competition among students. The pass percentage for CISCE Class 10 and 12 board exams, which were announced on Monday, saw a slight increase compared to last year. The move follows a similar decision by the CBSE last year to stop releasing merit lists for these board exams.
