A recent study published in the journal Rheumatology reveals that rheumatic diseases, such as autoimmune disorders affecting joints, muscles, or connective tissues, can lead to reproductive problems. The study, based on data from Finnish nationwide registers, found that individuals with autoimmune diseases faced challenges such as childlessness, preterm birth, and birthing children with low birth weight.
