Grandpa Murthy gifts 4-month-old ₹240 crore Infosys stake
Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy (77) recently gifted 15 lakh shares (0.04% stake in Infosys, valued at Rs 240 crore) to his four-month-old grandson Ekagrah. This generous act has now made Ekagrah, the youngest member of the Infosys promoter group. Following this gift, Murthy's ownership in the company has decreased to 0.36%. The shares transfer was disclosed through a stock exchange filing.
