Punjab's GST mop-up rises 16 pc to over Rs 19,000 crore till February
Punjab's Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection surged by 15.69%, reaching Rs 19,222 crore in the current fiscal year. Excise revenue also rose by 11.71% to Rs 8,093.59 crore. Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema credited the growth to improved planning and implementation under the AAP-led government since March 2022.
