India to conduct another household survey before changing CPI: Officials
India will conduct a survey of household consumption and retailers to revise the consumer price index (CPI), with initial findings showing a decrease in the weighting of food. The final report of the 2022/23 household survey will be released in two to three months, said Geeta Singh Rathore, director general of the National Sample Survey.
