80% of total capex will be in hydro sector; 15-20% in solar and hybrid green energy sector: RP Goyal, NHPC
RP Goyal, Director (Finance) of NHPC, announced that NHPC's installed capacity is 7,000 MW, with plans to double it by the end of FY27. The commercialisation of a 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan is expected by September 24, with a total capex of Rs 1,700 crore. NHPC aims to allocate 15-20% of capex to the solar sector.
