SpiceJet closer to settlement with aircraft lessor Celestial, says formalities remain
SpiceJet informed the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) that it has settled the matter with aircraft lessor Celestial Aviation, seeking a week for final formalities. Celestial Aviation had filed an insolvency petition against SpiceJet for a default of $29.9 million. SpiceJet has been in settlement talks with the lessor since October 2023.
