According to SITA's 2023 Air Transport IT Insights study, IT spending at airports and airlines increased year on year until 2023, reaching an expected $10.8 billion and $34.5 billion, respectively. Two-thirds of airport and airline CIOs predict continuous growth through 2024. Sustainability is also high on the agenda, with industry carbon reduction targets and emissions standards in place.
