Govt to shelve stadium monetisation
The government is expected to abandon the proposal to monetize stadiums and instead revise its approach to the iconic Ashok Hotel in the national capital. Sources informed TOI that the plan involves offering the hotel under the PPP mode through a single transaction. As a result, the initiative to monetize the assets of the state-run Ashok Hotel has been postponed.
