Ayush Ministry gets Rs 3,712 crore in interim Budget

The Ayush Ministry's interim Budget allocation for 2024-25 has increased to Rs 3,712.49 crore, up by 23.74% from the revised estimates of Rs 3,000 crore in 2023-24. The National Medicinal Plants Board received Rs 14.63 crore, and the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) was allocated Rs 20.80 crore. Autonomous bodies within the ministry, such as the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, and All India Institute of Ayurveda, have received allocations totaling Rs 1,848.40 crore.
