Geological Survey of India to provide geotechnical consultancy for road projects

The National Highways Authority of India has signed an agreement with the Geological Survey of India (GSI) for geotechnical consultancy services. GSI will assist NHAI in vetting detailed project reports, provide slope stability studies, and identify geologically weak zones on national highways. Additionally, GSI will analyze DPRs prepared by NHAI consultants. This collaboration aims to improve the quality of construction and enhance the travel experience for highway users.
