Binny Bansal exits Flipkart board
Binny Bansal has officially resigned from Flipkart's board, officially ending his association with the internet firm he co-founded alongside Sachin Bansal in 2007. Flipkart, initially entering the emerging local e-tail market with the introduction of an online bookstore, later evolved into a e-commerce platform. It was acquired by the US retail giant Walmart in 2018.
