Road ministry has a Rs 3,600 crore plan for better connectivity to Ayodhya

The road transport and highways ministry has requested special approval from the Centre to construct a 68km greenfield bypass in Ayodhya and nearby areas, with an investment of Rs 3,570 crore. The project aims to address the expected increase in traffic after the inauguration of the Ram temple. The construction will be undertaken through a public-private partnership (PPP) mode, with completion targeted within two-and-a-half years.
