Veer Savarkar International Airport to have ILS, RLS soon
The Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair is set to enhance its capabilities with the installation of advanced Instrument Landing System (ILS) and Runway Lighting System (RLS). The Doppler Very High-Frequency Omni Range (DVOR) has been operational since January 19, aiding aircraft in establishing flight position and navigation.
