Ahead of the Interim Budget, a survey was conducted on pressing questions facing the Indian economy. Participants had expectations regarding tax reforms, neglected areas, economic risks, and the performance of the Modi government. They expressed the need for a direct tax rejig, bringing fuel and alcohol under the GST regime, and promoting ease of business and new-economy areas such as tech & AI.
